I’m Wahiba - Welcome to my Saucey world!
I like to think of myself as somewhat of a condiment connoisseur. Whether it was chopping herbs for dressings, pickling anything that could be pickled, whisking garlic into aioli, or fermenting chilli, I’ve always been on a mission to create the sauciest of sauces. If there’s one thing I know, it’s what sauce goes with what.
In 2023, during a transitional period in my life, the idea struck me: what if I created a brand of salad dressings that were not only nutritious but genuinely delicious? And it wasn’t just about flavour. Every time I walked down the condiment aisle, I was met with the same tired bottles, bland branding, and yucky ingredients. It all felt uninspired and lazy. So I thought, f*** it, let’s go. Let’s make a sauce brand and let’s call it Saucey!
I went straight to my kitchen and started experimenting with my trusty Nutri Bullet (RIP - she gave it her all). After what felt like a very messy science project, the first Saucey creations came to life: dressings, hot sauce, and hot honey - a little family of condiments made only with real ingredients, designed to bring bold flavour to every dish.
We’re on a worldwide mission create delicious sauces and to yassify boring supermarket shelves.
